What is Hangcam?

It's an ultra small camera support which can be freestanding or attached to a variety of surfaces.

Hangcam aleviates camera shake and allows the photographer to be in the shot.

It can be quickly and securely attached and released from trees, posts, glass, plastic, from the top of car windows, etc.

It's a camera phone attachment.

Hangcam is VERY difficult to damage, made of aircraft grade alloy and spring steel wire.

Hangcam packs flat with 2 accessories into a strong mini carry bag.

About Us

I am a retired High School teacher of Art and Design and have worked in the UK, Australia and Papua New Guinea. I am very definitely NOT in the photographic category of 'happy snapper' but I'm either shuffling people or things around or hanging around waiting for exactly the right moment or not take the shot at all. I usually return home with no images. My family find it either irritating or highly amusing.

A lifetime of model making including some industrial work came in handy in moving from the various Hangcam concepts through to a made prototype quite quickly, around 6 months of picking it up and putting it down. Other than defying the laws of gravity I can't come up with anything simpler for the tasks I want of it - it has to stand or hang for maximum use.

I'm grateful for the assistance of the Welsh Assembly Government in helping me to get this product to market.
